The posters, by artists including Turner Prize winners Martin Creed and Rachel Whiteread, will be shown in a free exhibition at Tate Britain.
It is part of the London 2012 Festival - the finale of the Cultural Olympiad - which begins in a year from Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Eliza Doolittle will play a Peace One Day concert in London on 21 September, organisers say.
The event is one of three concerts run in conjunction with the peace-promoting charity as part of the festival.
Details of another of the concerts, in Londonderry on 21 June, have already been announced.
Organisers say more than seven million people will be able to enjoy free events including the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Festival and the Big Dance community event.
The Tino Sehgal commission at the Turbine Hall, at Tate Modern, and the 2012 Reading Challenge, which aims to involve one million children across the UK, are also highlights of the festival, which officially runs until 9 September.
Other free events just announced include a show by outdoor performance artists Walk the Plank in Chelmsford, Essex, a comedy season at East London's Hackney Empire and a free "light and fire spectacular" on the shores of Lake Windermere, in Cumbria.
Among the dozen artists commissioned to design games posters include Howard Hodgkin, Bridget Riley, Sarah Morris, and Bob and Roberta Smith.
Posters and limited edition prints will be available to buy this autumn.
